Holidays Imminent!

Hello from the Shed!

This virtual shed is about the only kind of shed I could stand to be in, over here in Andalucia. Before I went to bed last night on the night of the Supermoon, the thermometer read 34°C. Imagine what that is like in the heat of the day.

About a year ago I wrote on my blog about a guy I met in the Venta down the road. He turned up last Saturday night with his band, Memphis Trio. You know what? They were really good. All my friends were Boppin' the Blues.

Anyway, here is a link to the blog-post : I owe the chap an apology, perhaps!

In four days I go on holiday to the place I went to last year.

All of which, I suppose, is a roundabout way of saying I don't know what will be in the shed, if anything, over the next two weeks. It also means it's up to you all to cheerlead for my campaign.

No, seriously, any sharing of links, buttonholing in pubs of fools with money would be much appreciated from the depths of a wooded campsite near Peňascosa, not far from Albacete.

Yours Ewan Lawrie, amanuensis-in-chief to Alasdair Moffat.
