Today is the big day. The campaign is live. You have 2 posts to read already, if you've a mind to do so. However, this is the first official post with a live project. On here you'll find news about the project, associated new writings, short stories even, perhaps with Moffat appearing. And of course, the ramblings of someone who wants to get his novel published.
An exciting thing, this pitching business. I do feel it's all a bit Dragon's Den. Maybe you've always wanted to be Duncan Bannatyne or Deborah Meaden. I hope so, for the novel's sake. It's funny though, most (not all) writers are a bit introverted, so this marketing business is an alien thing for them (and me).
I've been looking round this shed that you're in and I haven't found anything but some mouldy cheese in a sprung mousetrap. Oh, and some creosote, old sacking (but no complete sacks) twenty-seven empty jam jars with no lids and a Daily Sketch dated 13th of March 1961. Not much to keep you (or me) occupied during our time in the shed. Maybe I could write a story from these small beginnings. Or you could. Anything's possible. Even Gibbous House getting published – with your help.
