Murray Mielniczuk, the last astronaut, is dying. So is the Earth.

In a last-ditch attempt to save them both, Murray and her wife Kay are shot forward through time to find a cure and rewrite the future. But crash-landing in a barren future, they find themselves with no help, no ship, and no way home.

    Tom Woodman

Tom is part of award-winning improvised comedy group 'Shoot From the Hip', garnering recommendations fromTime Out, The Metro and The Evening Standard, among others. By day, he works as a fiction editor.

Future is his first comic. His bookshelf just collapsed under the weight of exhaustive research.

    Rupert Smissen

Rupert is an award-winning illustrator and visualiser. He has worked on projects for many leading brands and publications including Ray-Ban, Topman, Cannes Lions Festival, The Sunday Times and Little White Lies.

When not wielding a pencil (or stylus) there's a good chance he'll be riding his bikes, or brushing up on his bushcraft. Or attempting to combine the two. Future is his first comic.

Aditya Bidikar is constantly topping 'best letterer' lists and winning awards, including Broken Frontier's Best Letterer 2017.

Aditya has lettered books for Image, Vault, and Unbound, among others.

29th July 2019 Arts Council Funding

    Hello everyone,

Excellent news - we've received an Arts Council grant! Not only does this help with a lot of our behind-the-scenes costs, but it's official recognition of the quality of the project, which is a huge bonus.

We want to thank those of you who have backed Future before we even knew it was a culturally significant piece of art, back when it was just a fun book about Kay and Murray…

    10th April 2019 Future’s Future looks bright!

Hi everyone! Firstly, thanks for following Future’s progress, you’re delightful.

Everything’s going wonderfully. We’ve been featured by Broken Frontier, Sirens of Sequentials, been in Unbound’s newsletter, and have lots of other interviews and whatnot set up.

Moreover, the art for Chapter 1 is COMPLETE, and the crowdfund has hit 17%, meaning they’re keeping perfect pace! We’ll carry on working…
