The final edit of Ex goes out for approval

I cannot believe it but I sent the final edit of Ex to Luke last night having written an extra chapter. There is likely to be a little bit more editing to come I expect - we still have to send it off to the wonderful people in the good ship Unbound for their approval but Luke is talking about the cover designer reading it now so this is getting real.

Now, Slaughterhouse-Five came in at 49,459 words, Fahrenheit 451 is 46,118, As I lay Dying was 56,695, Lord of the Flies was 59,900 and we are currently on 57,443. So not a huge book but it really does say everything that needs to be said about these characters.

Thank you so much for your part in making this become a book. I hope to see you many of you at the launch party, at court, in my home, on the running track, in a nice country pub or at the starting line of a race very very soon when you will, I am afraid, be getting a big soppy hug.
