A Note From The Editors
After reviewing our publication schedule for upcoming titles, the publication date of Eileen: The Making of George Orwell is moving to March 2020.
The response to the book has been so strong that we have decided to give it a new publication date that will ensure the maximum support from the media and the trade. We are planning to send out the early copies to supporters, together with any rewards you may have pledged for, in advance of the March 2020 publication date.
Thanks for your patience.

Cryptic. You're putting back the publication date six months ... so reviewers can have time to read and review? That's weird, if you'll pardon the word. Are you having legal troubles with Orwell's estate? Have you discovered scholarly weaknesses in the text, or plagiarism? Something's just not right. Wish we could get clarification of "ensure maximum support from the media and the trade." Bruce Reeves

Is this some kind of Orwellian doublespeak? Publication in October before the Christmas season is usually best for new book sales. Are you telling us that putting it off for another six months will help promote the book? Why didn't you think of that before? What's the problem? Lack of funds?
