Matlock and the Night Before: a short story for Christmas

Hi all

The Welsh-based crime writing collective Crime Cymru (for writers who either are Welsh, are living and working in Wales, who set their stories in Wales, or any combination of the above), are currently running a series of Christmas-themed short stories from their cohort of authors. As I’m a member of that particular gang, being located physically in Wales these days, I’ve been asked to contribute.

And so I have. Here’s some free Yuletide noir for you.

Matlock and the Night Before features Dan Matlock, the protagonist of East of England (and of the forthcoming novels Piece of Work and Canine Jubilee). I hope you enjoy the story!

Also, try to check back on the Crime Cymru site throughout the month, as there’s plenty more seasonal short fiction from the team being premiered between now and Christmas.

Here’s the short story link again. Ta!

Thanks, Eamonn

P.S. I'll be back in the New Year to update about Canine Jubilee and suchlike for 2020. In the meantime, have a fine festive season!
