11th May - East of England funding progress update

Hi all

A short update on funding progress for East of England: we're at 57% funded. That means that we're still on course to have the book financed by the end of June, when the post-production malarkey will begin.

You can help speed up the process by spreading the good word about the book, mentioning it to generous reading-friendly chums down the pub, and by marching up and down your local High Street, naked but for a sandwich board with the book's details on it. The choice, as they say, is yours.

Also, if you're minded, have a look at my brother Max's book Field Notes, which is also being funded via Unbound. They're both set in the same part of the world, and would make strange but logical bedfellows.

If you're able to point folk towards East of England, then the book's details are here: unbound.com,/books/east-of-england/

And if you do take up my sandwich board suggestion, pop up some pictures online.
