Comic drawing workshops are go!

One of the Draw The Line pledge levels ('artist workshop') gets you not just five first editions of the book, but a real live, breathing comic artist to come and show you and your friends (or club or school or whatever) the skills you need to make your own work.

I was absolutely thrilled to see this picture from Louise Shackleton who picked the wonderful Woodrow Phoenix and hosted the group as a special treat for her friends - they enjoyed a workshop on character building and decision points in story telling.

There's a massive range of wonderful comic artists offering workshops (and talks) all over the UK, and in some cases beyond - the full list is here. It's a unique chance to tap into the knowledge and skills of some really creative thinkers, and shape the workshop to your own needs.

Some important things to know:

- Even if you've already pledged, you can top your pledge up at any time to take it to the workshop level.

- As you can see, there's no need to wait until we're 100% funded before you get your workshop: it can be arranged at a mutually convenient date between you and your chosen artist.

If you've got any questions please do drop us a line on drawthelinecomics@gmail.com and we'll be happy to answer asap.
