Come and see me in March!

Hello hello,

I hope you are well.

I have loved launching Don't Hold My Head Down into the world. Particularly being a 'Number 1 best seller in sex' on Amazon, I may pop that on a business card. And MP Hannah Bardell telling everyone present to put it on their reading list during the recent debate on Sex and Relationship eductation in the House of Commons.

I have got quite a lot of talkies lined up for March and I wanted to tell you about them, in the hope you can pop along to one and say hello and let me thank you in person for your support of this project.

Here goes!

This Friday 1st March OXFORD Blackwells

This I am really looking forward to. It will be an intimate, informal, bring a bottle chat at one of the most renowned bookshops in the country/world (where I have been BOOK OF THE MONTH in the social sciences dept!!) with myself and Robert Woodshaw. It starts at 7pm, message me (either here, Facebook or on the Twits) if you would like to go on the guest list.

3rd March MANCHESTER Peoples History Museum

I will be part of a panel at the Women in Journalism conference. There is LOADS of lovely stuff happening at this for a really reasonable fee. I am part of a discussion on C'ampaigning for a cause' at 2.30pm on Sunday. My chat will be No More Page 3 focused but I will be floating around in a tee for the afternoon so please come and say hello.

6th March LONDON EC2

This is part of the Book of Man’s Festival of New Masculinity which I think sounds pretty amazing and groundbreaking. I will be part of a debate led by Jordan Stevens or perhaps I should say it as I have been squealing it in my head BY JORDAN RIZZLE KICKS #iamwhole STEVENS!!  the conversation will be - What has changed since #metoo ?  And I am really looking forward to it. 20th March BRISTOL Foyles

A 'Sex and Politics' event with Robert Woodshaw, author of The Iron Bird, we will act out scenes from our books, interview each other and have a good old chinwag and Q and A. Book here.

23rd March HERTFORDSHIRE

A ittle bit different, this could well tickle your fancy. t's a Self Care Self Love Retreat, a day of R and R and inspiration, with all sorts of workshops and speakers; meditation, a talk on reducing your plastic use, another on super foods, me speaking about exploring your sexuality and lots more.

27th March LONDON Kings Cross

At radical booksellers, Housmans in Kings Cross, another fun and informal Sex and Politics event with Robert Woodshaw, where we talk about the passions and frustrations that led us to write about sex and politics. *Clothes will remain on at all time. Deets here

Hope to see you there! (Somewhere!)

Oo and I now have a Lucy-Anne Holmes writer page on Facebook if that tickles your fancy.
