In my shed

Lots of shed posts planned, but I though it appropriate to post this little poem which I wrote a couple of years ago.

Please don't be scared it's only poetry.

The people in my shed

I’ve got some people in my shed

I visit them each day

They’re always pleased to see me

I’ve made sure that they will stay

I’ve got some people in my shed

They jump and wave and shout

I think they’re either happy

Or they’re wanting to get out

I’ve got some people in my shed

They visited last year

I said ‘come look inside my shed’

‘I’m brewing my own beer’

The lovely people in my shed

I’m really glad they stayed

Well when they actually tried to leave

I hit them with a spade

The people in my shed

They really are my only friends

I love them all so dearly

And this friendship never ends

The people in the shed

Will stay with me forever more

Because I plan to keep their heads

Hung up above the door
