Getting ready for the big day

Wednesday, 10 October 2018

Hello all,

My version of Christmas is only a week away.  When I say Christmas, I'm not trying to make you believe that some overweight bloke in a red suit is going to try and break into your home, drink your booze and leave you a pair of socks from your auntie.  No, in my version of the greatest day of the year, something that I have slaved over, obsessed with, and pestered and begged to be made a reality will finally be revealed to the world - Domini Mortum will finally be published on Thursday 18th October and will be available from all good book stores, and maybe even some bad ones.

By this date, all those lucky enough, and supportive enough to have pledged for it, will have received their copy of the book in its e-form.  Others, those that for some bizarre reason did not pledge their support, will be able to either get the e-version or the paperback in their greasy paws.

To celebrate its release I am having a party to which everyone is invited (Supposing that you are able to make your way to the small market town of Pickering in North Yorkshire).  Do come along it will be lovely to see you and thank you in person for helping me to make my dreams come true.  Sounds a bit lame doesn't it?  Making my dreams come true.  Like some naive but lucky child, wishing for their own jet plane and then waking to find a F15 in their back garden, or a Disney princess, dreaming of the day when her charming Prince will appear at ther door to whisk her away.  I am neither of those things (Although when I was younger I did wish once for my own jet as I lay in bed one night.  But then half way through the night I woke up and changed my mind and wished for my own Millenium Falcon.  I think the wish fairies got either confused or angry at my lack of focus, and I got neither).

Anyway, here is the poster for the party.  It would be lovely to see you there.

Paul x
