A couple of weeks ago I promised that when the number of supporters reached 100 I would pull a name out of the hat at random and that supporter would be included as a character in the novel. (The proviso being that this person may actually be horrifically murdered as part of the plot).
Well at the present time Domini Mortum's supporters number 106 and so, as promised I picked one of the first 100's names from a metaphorical hat. The lucky person (or unlucky if you did not want to be at the blood soaked hands of a ghastly Victorian serial killer) is Catherine Davies.
Congratulations, Catherine, I shall now make the necessary tweaks to the novel required and immortalise you in print.
For those supporters waving their fists in disappointment at not being picked, I do however offer a chance at redemption.
I shall be making another 'Prize Draw' once the supporters number 150. So do not dismay, your untimely but fictional death may still happen.
Thank you for all of your support during this process and please spread the word about Domini Mortum, family, friends, starngers in the street, on the bus, on the tube. This lovely thing which I have spent so much time creating and nurturing depends on the support of as many people as possible to make it happen.
I am currently going through a standard editing process with the book, and can promise you that the finished product will indeed be a treat of a tale that you will feel proud to have been part of the creation of.
Thank you again,
