A happy Thanksgiving to all!
Once again, there's not very much to report for this month; the one-two punch of PhD work and NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) means I'm lucky to be able to form words, let alone type out any here! :) Both are finally starting to wind down for the winter, though, and with the 50K word count mark on the latter to be passed tomorrow, there's plenty to be thankful for...most of all that I maintained my sanity through it :D . The continuing rise in Discarded's pledge levels is yet another; all possible thankfulness to those who've decided to back this draft! If (all digits crossed!) this trend continues, there's a very good chance that it will pass the pledge finish line by sometime in early spring of next year, at the latest--at which time the long-awaited torture/joy of edits and pre-publication work will begin! Keep spreading the word, and watching here and on my other author feeds for more news; meantime, enjoy whatever time off you've got, and I'll see you all again in December!
