A good afternoon to all!

With the COVID isolation of late, it feels both unbelievable and unsurprising that we're already almost a month into summer. Thankfully, the "executive dysfunction" hasn't been as big a problem as in past months, allowing me to give you some good news: As of this past Sunday (6/21), the first round of structural edits on Discarded are finished, and currently being reviewed by editor Gary Gibson! Some of the excised material (mostly what I thought was essential backstory) I was a bit sad to see disappear, but all in all, the story's flowing much more smoothly for it. No word yet on the next round of needed work, but I'm hoping to have further progress to report by next month's post. Till then, like before, stay safe, and I'll see you again in July
