Good evening, everybody!
A bit of somewhat disappointing news to report, for those of you who might've missed the auto-update: Given the havoc COVID is playing with every kind of work and schedule imaginable of late, Unbound has decided to push back the publication dates for number of works, including Discarded. The new date at this point is March 6, 2021; not clear yet whether this will change again, with lockdowns and other barriers. Most importantly, though, the book is still going forward; as of this month, it's in the developmental edit stage, meaning it's one more major step closer to shelves everywhere!
On a happier note, my Alternate History novel Dixie Curtain passed the (beta-ready) finish line not long after the previous update, and is now in capable beta and proofreader hands, with cover design also in the works! Best estimate right now for Kindle publication is early June, latest; that may stretch, with COVID, but the current pace says otherwise. Keep an eye out for further updates on my FB and Twitter feeds; apart from that, stay hunkered down, and I'll message you all again in May!
