apologies for being the invisible man of late and not updating the progress of my book.

Well, we have some news on the book release and are looking at autumn this year, 2017, so all being well it should be available for the christmas period. Thanks for your patience and excellent support in realising this book.

Anyone who's bought any pledges, we'll have an update on those soon and will be in touch.

The cover for the book is pretty much done and will be sharing that on here as soon as possible.

Decades of Lead update

This is just a quick pre-Christmas update to let you know what is happening with Decades of Lead.

Progress has been slow, we know, but we want to make this book as beautiful as possible and that takes time. Supporting a book at Unbound is very different to buying a book from a bookshop. When a book appears in a bookshop, that is often the first you know about it – the months and years of planning, editorial, design, plugging into retail cycles etc. are invisible. With Unbound, the lengthy process is visible and you get to see quite how long books can take to make. Even if that can be frustrating and test your patience at times.

This book has proved to be more logistically complex than we had first thought but the proverbial nut has been cracked and from here on in you should receive semi-regular automated updates as the book enters each stage of production.

We know you have been very patient so far and we are hugely grateful for your support, but we need to ask you to remain patient for a while longer yet. Finished copies are unlikely to reach you until late 2018 but when they do come they are going to look amazing.
