This is the end

My beautiful friends. The Unbound bouncers will be closing the doors to chez Darwin this Sunday (22nd July) and locking the door, so now is your last chance to log in and:

  • Check your name is spelt correctly (this is how it will be printed in the book!)
  • Check your pledge level (did you pledge for an e-book or paperback? Are you sure you don’t want a poster of the cover art on your wall?)
  • Clear a week in your diary for when Darwin’s Soldiers lands on your doorstep/e-reader because you will be addicted to this book! (Pub date to follow)

And as one door closes, a new one opens…

We’re nearly there!

In fact, we’re so close I can smell the pages. Darwin’s Soldiers has been edited, copy-edited, type set (a mere 400 pages…) and proof-read. But what about the cover, I hear you shout. Well, I’ve had the first draft from the designers and it looks amazing! Full of energy and some of the great characters from the book. I can’t share it with you yet, but when it’s officially signed off you, Team Darwin, will be the first to see it and then, when it comes out, you’ll be the first to read it.

I can’t wait!

Great news Ste, you must be excited! A question that's been bubbling in my head recently is where else do unbound market the book? Do they do a hardcopy run and send to selected bookshops, If so how many copies do they run off? or is it available on Amazon/online only? Would love to direct some of my friends to where they can get a copy - Cheers, Andy C.

Hi Andy, exciting times!
There will definitely be paperbacks heading out to bookshops (although I haven't seen the details yet) and there will be a dedicated Amazon page for ordering the e-book or paperback, so maybe that's the best place to direct them to?
Alternatively, you can buy direct from Unbound so this Darwin's Soldiers page will change from pledges to purchases.
