Survival of the fittest
Thank you everyone for your pictures of Darwin’s Soldiers!
It’s been great seeing the book in the wild, hearing everyone’s comments and reading your reviews. A few of you have finished the book already (fast reading!) and Darwin’s Soldiers currently has 6 five-star reviews on Amazon, which is amazing. Feel free to add your review if you want to! Speaking of which, here's a great review of Darwin's Soldiers:
If you pledged for the e-book but want to get your hands on the paperback (or want to buy it for a friend), it’s available through Amazon (where it’s been holding its own in the Science Fiction charts) and high street bookshops such as Waterstones, (hopefully WHSmith soon) and many independent bookshops across the UK, which can order the book if they don’t have it in stock.
Which brings me to exciting news… Unbound are so pleased with Darwin’s Soldiers, they are pushing ahead with book two of The Origin Trilogy!
The funding page will be going live soon, but I’m holding it back so you can get in there first and choose the tastiest pledges!
Warning! Only the read the excerpt if you have finished reading Darwin’s Soldiers.
We have a new pledge level which gives you the chance to join the adventure as one of the characters! You can be a rogue human soldier or one of the Lutamek (using your birthdate). I was sneaky enough to do this in Darwin’s Soldiers a few times. A good example is Ten-ten, the Lutamek doctor, who is named after my wife’s birthday – the 10th of October.
Happy birthday Cath!
