Six months
Wow. How time flies… it’s been six whole months since Darwin’s Soldiers flickered into life on the Unbound Books website and we started the journey to publication. In that time, during Earth’s half orbit around the sun, Brian Aldiss and Colin Dexter have passed away, the UK voted blue and North Korea made numerous attempts to start fireworks night early. Someone needs to teach them the rhyme: remember, remember…
And we have reached 63%! Thank you one and all. Just a few more pledges before we reach our target then the editing and cover design can start! So spread the word – tell fellow readers about Darwin’s Soldiers or maybe pledge as a present for someone who would love to see their name in the front pages of a published book?
But now – drumroll – I can announce the winners of the Great Big Book Giveaway! The winners of the following books (which were used during the creation of Darwin’s Soldiers) are:
The Art of War - Kevin Osborne
The Book of Imaginary Beings - Vanessa Ward
The Face of Battle - Peter Breeden
The Origin of Species - Sheryll Osbiston
These books will be winging their way over to you in the next week or so. Thank you for your pledges!
