Happy World Book Day everyone! I imagine you are all dressed as hobbits, Victorian gentlewomen or the BFG today? If not, you can borrow one of my costumes when I've finished with them. :)
Can you believe it's been one whole year since the campaign for bringing Darwin's Soldiers started? The Earth is currently in the same point around the Sun as it was when Unbound pushed the button and launched our adventure. Apparently there's some guy in a red car trying ot overtake us...
I'm pleased to say Darwin's Soldiers is looking better than ever now Hal (the editor with the incredibly sharp pen) has shaken and stirred up the novel. I have sewn it back togather and will hand it back to Hal shortly, giving him the opportunity to slice it up again then the copy-editor will get 'all grammatical' on it.
I'll find a few snippets to post on here to keep you amused between now and publication day. In the meantime, why don't you find a good book and a small person (preferably a child, not a hobbit) and read them one of the thousands of amazing stories which inhabit our bookshops, libraries and bookshelves? Or if you're feeling tired why not ask them to read it to you?
