Cover reveal, pub date and launch event

Team Darwin, the time has come to reveal… the Darwin’s Soldiers cover!

What do you think? If I saw this in a bookshop I would definitely pick it up!

The designer, Mark Ecob, has captured the feel of the novel perfectly (the green will make sense when you read the book) and I like to think someone who pledged for the poster has matching wallpaper.

And there’s more…

The publication date has been set for Thursday 20th September and you’ll have your copy before it’s available for the general public, so you can get stuck in straight away! The date’s pretty special because it will be exactly 20 years since I started writing my first novel after a bizarre dream while I was camping in a forest in Australia.

Speaking of Australia… Team Darwin is made up of highly attractive people from all over the world – from the U.S. and Canada to Australia and China, from North Yorkshire to Cornwall, Wales to East Anglia – and you are all invited to the Darwin’s Soldiers launch event! I appreciate it may be a long way to come for an hour of chat and a drink in an historic fort, but if you’re in the area you are welcome to come and celebrate!

Saturday 15th September – 16:30 – Landguard Fort, Felixstowe, Suffolk

More details to follow, but in the meantime I am busy selling the book to independent bookshops all over the country. If you would like to help, just ask your local shop if they want to stock the book which can be ordered through Gardners using the ISBN: 9781912618101

Keep evolving!
