Fully funded!
Hello Unbounders (is that what I call you?),
Sorry for the complete lack of project updates before now. As I'm sure you've heard, Damnable Tales passed its funding target last Thursday. The 30th of April of course was Walpurgis Night, traditionally when fires are lit to ward off evil spirits, and the Devil himself creeps abroad. Damnable timing, indeed...
I want to thank you all for your pledges, and for helping to spread the word about the project. I literally couldn’t have done it without you! The pledge levels will remain open during the book's production, so there's still plenty of time to pre-order, for anyone else you know who might be interested (shameless pestering...).
I now need to crack on with the lino cutting. By my count there are a good 15 or so designs still to do. At the moment I’m averaging about one completed lino cut per week, so I’ve got a long way to go!
From now on, I’ll start regularly updating you with each new design, giving you an advance peek before I share it on social media. In the next couple of days I should finish the illustration for A.C. Benson’s 1904 tale ‘Out of the Sea’.
Thanks again!
Richard
