Our visit to Mrs Tibb-Untwill
Hello and welcome to our shed. Squeeze in!
When we had the idea for ‘Dad Droid’, we knew we wanted it to be an adventure story that would be funny, exciting and hopefully a bit moving too. So we immediately jumped on a bus to East Croydon and visited an incredible woman called Mrs Tibb-Untwill, who trained us up as novelists, over many months, using cake and a large stick. Mrs Tibb-Untwill had previously worked as a ring-mistress in a Polish word circus where she’d managed to tame difficult vowels and make adjectives jump through hoops. (Unfortunately she had been forced to retire after a whole paragraph fell on her leg.) Anyway our visit did the trick and the book you’re not holding in your hand is the result.
We’re both very excited that ‘Dad Droid’ is almost 50% funded. There’s still a long way to go though, so if you can, please tell your friends and family via Facebook, Twitter or that woman that gossips a lot (you know, the one with the funny eye who lives at number 39).
Here’s a link for you to copy and paste: https://unbound.com/books/dad-droid
We can’t wait till it’s a real book and we can sniff the cover and run our fat little fingers along the spine. A big thank you to everyone who’s already pledged. We’re very grateful.

Have already pledged but will try to put some pressure on friends and family. A little disappointed that it didn't gain me access to an actual shed as I could have done with the extra storage space - but good luck chaps, looking forward to reading the book. Claire X

Pledged and sharing mightily. So, you know that woman at no: 39 also? I have long suspected she is an earwig as she has taken 329 years to knit me a Clanger. When I remonstrated she said 'you try knitting with 6 legs and no opposable thumbs...'
Keeping everything crossed for the remaining 50% - makes going to the loo hard but such is life.
