Delighed to say that the first chapters are starting to come in. Well done Faris and Rosie Yakob for being the first to get theirs in. Their chapter is called "Same Same But Different: How Abstraction is The Key to Creativity" and talks us through their methodology of stealing (there is one).
Here is a snippet:
Authenticity is invaluable; originality is non-existent. And don’t bother concealing your thievery - celebrate it if you feel like it. In any case, always remember what Jean-Luc Godard said: “It’s not where you take things from - it’s where you take them to." — Jim Jarmusch
This quote was re-imagined as an image which then spread around the internet in early 2009. It's still finding its way to us in this form today.
Anyway now that we have hit 91% (thanks everyone), we are doing everything that we can to get the book finished. However things are complicated by the fact we have 15 contributors so please bear with us.
