You know, I get a lot of people asking me about my author’s shed…
They say: “Hey E O*, where did you purchase such a fine-looking author's outbuilding? Can I get one? Is it the ideal environment for your 'pottering’ needs?”
Well, let me answer those questions right now:
My shed is, of course, the 'Beeton's Premier Groundsman Garden Shed (with summer house mix)’.
It comes equipped with a 12mm tongue and groove floor and has a single, well-braced, 'Z’-framed door, which is supported by timber batons - making construction sturdier. The faux-antique-style hinges on the door bring a more distinguished look, as do the two Styrene-glazed opening rear windows, which allow natural light to flood the interior during the day.
The apex roofline provides additional headroom (which, naturally, I need) and the option to store taller items – such as a rake, shovel or caber.
A gold and platinum filigree padlock allows me to lock the shed for extra security, whilst impressing upon the 'Joneses at number six' that I’m both stylish and practical – without ever being ostentatious.
I purchased the 'Beeton's Premier Groundsman Garden Shed (with summer house mix)’ from the good people at Netley’s of Stevenage. Where delivery is FREE to most areas of the UK mainland.
Ian Clarke, the deputy manager, really helped to demystify the whole shed-buying process. Or, as they say at Netley’s, 'shed light on my outhouse needs’. **
Fast installation from the Netley’s team meant that the 'Beeton's Premier Groundsman Garden Shed (with summer house mix)’ was up and in action in the garden just 48 hours from purchase – and it only set me back a very competitive £399 (RRP: £675.)
To date, I’ve tried 'pottering’ in a municipal car park, a travel agents and the Woking branch of Dixons, and I must say that none of these locations could provide me with the luxury and comfort afforded by the 'Beeton's Premier Groundsman Garden Shed (with summer house mix)’. And the long-lasting pressure-treated wood finish means that this is a product that is not only straight-from-the-manufacturer affordable but, also, weather durable.
I hope that helps.

** They really do say that. A lot.
