Pictures of comedians before and after they take the stage.

Over the past several years comedian and photographer Steve Best has taken thousands of pictures of his fellow and fellowess comedians. In the last 3 years he has had two books out, COMEDY SNAPSHOT a few year’s back, and more recently, JOKER FACE.

COMEDIANS BACK TO FRONT is his next book, bigger, much more arty, bringing something quite wonderful to the coffee table. These are his best fine art prints of comedians: comedians back stage - candid, the nerves, the apprehension; and pictures front of stage - the bright lights and the confidence.

For years Steve has had such wonderful access to a world that is rather closed to the general public. With his photography he’s letting you into this mad world. Backstage he gets up close but also takes rather candid shots and front of stage he goes for the unusual angles and lighting.

There are hundreds of Steve’s pictures of comedians backstage and front stage with a little of Steve’s wording by each one. Maybe a joke or two.

This will be super duper off the scale high end book of beautiful quality. Steve has some truly wonderful people on board to help to make COMEDIANS BACK TO FRONT stunning - Alex Schneideman, a master fine art printer and Herman Lelie, a designer of the highest order.

Hello, my name is Steve Best and I’ve been a stand-up comedian for over 20 years. There, I’ve outed myself at last.
I have performed all over the world including South Africa, Malaysia, Indonesia, Bosnia, South Africa, Holland, Denmark, The Falkland Islands, and Southend on Sea. I plan to go further afield.
I have been on huge nationwide tours with Frank Skinner, Craig Charles and Omid Djalili. I have done lots of TV.
I am also a photographer. Some would say a clown photographer.
I have met some very weird and wonderful comedy people over my career and have felt the need, the desire no less, to share these misfits with you.

It looks like Steve Best has not made any updates yet. Check back soon!
