The Qatar World Cup is the perfect time to read the DCI Castle series!
The Qatar World Cup is in full spate, and despite England’s tragic exit, there will be no more apposite time to read The Trail or Cold Dawn.
This World Cup has been a long time in coming, and the scandals snowballing (maybe not the perfect metaphor!) every year. Highlighting the terrible numbers of Nepalese (and other) worker deaths, I wrote the first draft of The Trail in 2014.
Promoting Cold Dawn has been going well. Highlights include being featured in the Manchester Evening News https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/news/greater-manchester-news/top-cops-hunt-next-osama-24768033, being interviewed on the UK Crime Book Club Facebook group, and Cold Dawn being chosen for a very popular local book club.
Reviews are always very much appreciated. Amazon, Goodreads, or wherever.
Thank you again for your support in getting the book out there.
I wish you and your family a great Christmas, and very best wishes for 2023.

PS I will be again running two creative writing classes (both online) next year. A short short-story course in January, and a creative writing class throughout the year. It would be great to have you along! More details on my website https://jamesellson.com/
PPS Currently, I am finishing off the 3rd book in the DCI Castle series . . . A Cold Summer is the roaring finale to the Nepal trilogy. Nothing will be the same again.
