Cover Reveal

Hello all,

Thank you for your support and patience on Cain’s Jawbone. We’re sure you’re looking forward to receiving your box and starting to solve the puzzle in autumn this year.

We’re also thrilled to officially reveal the cover, designed by the fantastic illustrator Tom Gauld, in all its glory:

At midnight this Sunday 20 January (GMT) we’ll be closing the supporter list for the book. This means that after this time, people will not be able to have their name printed in the back of the book. If you’d like to pre-order a copy for someone else, please do so before this deadline.

Patrick Wildgust, the curator of Shandy Hall, recently spoke with a surviving relative of Powys Mathers. The first question asked was, ‘How is the name pronounced?’ The relative replied that it is ‘Powys’, not ‘Pow-is’, and ‘May-thers’ not ‘Ma-thers’. Although elderly himself, the surviving relative remembers Mathers fondly.
