Do not judge a cover by its book
Dear fellow shedheads,
Some exciting news (for me, anyhow) to share with you all about You Took the Last Bus Home. It now has a cover – which looks something like this:
I hope you like the cover as much as I do. It has asked me to pass this poem onto to you …
DO NOT JUDGE A COVER BY ITS BOOK
Do not judge me by this book,
I’m just a humble cover,
an easy way for you to tell
one volume from another.
I wish I wrapped a classic work,
some important weighty tome,
rather than this book of verse,
You Took the Last Bus Home.
I don’t care much for my author
but I’d better keep this brief;
although I may look pretty
just beware what lurks beneath.
Plus one final reminder that from midnight on Thursday 16th June it’s no longer possible for new supporters to get their name in the back of the book. So if you do know someone who is thinking of pledging, do let them know to do so in haste!
Best wishes,
Brian

Oh, I love the cover! How exciting to see the book taking shape and to know I won't have to wait too long to actually hold a copy in my hands. If it's that's exciting for me I can't imagine how you must feel!
