Not about Brexit

The virus is both terrible yet creates hope, as kindness and a sense of humanity come through. How is this possible? I wrote my answer under lockdown. As well as proposing what to do now it turned into a history of the past 50 years: I show how a humanisation grew inside the global disorder. It's pamphlet length at 23,000 words and there is a pdf for easier reading. Also an openDemocracy video debate about it with Achille Mbembe especially memorable, and I tussled with Yanis Varoufakis over it in his 'TV' show - I'm opposed to his 'This is the correct programme' approach. While not about Brexit (apart from a few blows at Johnson and Cummings at the start!) I feel it develops the approach I explored in The Lure of Greatness. Here are the links:
