Dear All,

Thank you so much to all the amazing people who have signed up to the book so far.  As you know, my proceeds from the book will go to First Story.  I am very excited to be able to help such an amazing charity.  I have seen plenty of their work in action and it really does change lives.

I have had plenty of exciting opportunities to spread the word about the book recently - an article in the Mail, a fantastic weeks teaching at the wonderful Arvon Foundation, a couple of readings in Oxford.  

Coming soon is an article in The Author (the magazine of The Society Of Authors) plus appearances at the Marlborough and Durham Book Festivals, at Loose Muse and at an event in Bristol. 

Plus I am standing for the Management Committee of The Society Of Authors as I want to help them protect the interests of all writers.
