Episode 6 quiz

And so, dear Shed-Dwellers, to our final Further Back in Time for Dinner question. In the 21st century, what flavour chocolate does Fred find unacceptable? As usual the first correct answerer gets to rule the Shed for the next week. Our current rulers are King Nicholas and Queen Annie; anyone think they can take the crown from them?

By the way we are now up to 18% of our target. When we reach 20%, I will put up another extract here - solely for Shed-Dwellers to read. I already have a passage in mind and it's a really good one. So if you can all try to persuade your friends to pledge - just a handful of pledges would do it - you could soon be reading the new instalment!

Best wishes

Brandon

Good guesses, but neither is correct. The answer is considerably more outlandish than that...

PS Joe, can I just check - I cannot see your name on the list of supporters - did you pledge under a different name?

It's Ethan's mum here again. We won't be watching tonight's episode "live", we have a good excuse as Ethan is out at Boys Brigade until 9pm and we have promised him that we will wait to watch the programme when he comes home. So sadly we won't be entering the King of Sheds competition (we did have a wild guess before!) as we will have no idea what the chocolate flavour is until everyone else has watched the programme! We are a little bit sad that this is the last episode to be shown.
Any idea how we can watch the first series? Neither I - player nor YouTube are coming up with the goods. I (Julia) haven't watched the previous series but my husband has done so.

Sorry me again. I've just watched a clip of tonight's programme. Can I please guess bacon?!

Bacon is right! King Ethan, you are sovereign of the Shed for the next week.

Hi, Ethan's mum. You can download the previous series - Back in Time for Dinner - from the BBC. You have to pay, but I don't think it is very expensive.

Best wishes

Thank you Brandon, we will certainly look into downloading the other tv series.
I have just told Ethan that he is Shed King for a week, he is very happy! We always look after him royally but this week we shall make an extra effort. Ethan always likes to spot continuity errors and "movie mistakes" and he noticed just now that in the final meal sequence Fred had a curly straw in his glass in some shots and then it disappeared!
It looks like you had lots of fun making the programme, family time is never wasted time. We were glad that Miranda (I think) said that you were still enjoying family meals together. Our eldest is away at uni and we treasure the time he comes back for visits and holidays and we always cook him a Sunday roast!
Thanks again
Julia

Fred finds bacon chocolate unacceptable (which is hardly surprising).
