Time for an Update
Hello murder lovers.
It's been a little while since I posted an update so here we go ...
The book has now been structurally edited and copyedited. I'm just awaiting the copyedit to come back to me for final approval and then it's off to the proofreader for a final check over. Then the typesetter will get their mitts on it and the book will start to look like a book. The cover, meanwhile, is looking fantastic. I''ll be able to reveal it soon. Neil Gower has done an amazing job. Here's a tease:
I've also landed another cover quote from no less a person than Neil Dudgeon who plays DCI Barnaby in MIdsomer Murders. Despite his busy filming schedule, he kindly took the time to read the book and gave me a lovely quote. What a gent. He now joins Stephen Fry and Sandi Toksvig on the cover.
Could I have a more British trio of quoters?
In the meantime I've been hard at work on QI - we have six new episodes in the can already with 10 to go. I've also done my first gig at a comedy club and landed a few fantastic public speaking gigs including this year's Nudgestock and a talk in Kuala Lumpur in September.
I'm also hard at work on a TV pitch for A Murder To Die For and turning the novel into a six part comedy serial. The weeks are flying by and it won't be long now before you all get to hold my book in your generous and supportive hands.
I can't wait.

Loverly jubberly, I can't wait. Amazing if you get a TV deal for it too. All my fingers are variously crossed.
