Hello fab funders and perspicacious pledgers!
Accustomed as you are to weekly bombardment of updates from me, you might have noticed a lull in my output recently. There are good reasons for this: (a) because it does no harm to give your poor bulging inboxes a respite from time to time and (b) because I really didn't have much to report.
But now I have. And it's all good.
A Murder To Die For has now gone through a structural edit and a copy edit and has emerged pretty much unscathed. I've added in the characters whose names were chosen by those of you who pledged at that level (and they are proper characters with multiple appearances - I didn't just add them all in as a list of people queuing at the Post Office or something. You get your money's worth with me). And I've recently been sent the paper proofs to peruse and they look fantastic. All that's needed now is a final proofread for any typos that slipped through the net and it's off to the printers.
And then there's the cover. Mark Ecob has done a marvelous job with the design and Neil Gower's cover art is so bloody good! It's perfect. Today I can reveal the full cover wrap.
Now ... there are a couple of super-duper extra things I haven't shown you that will make your special subscriber editons much sexier and more fancy than the trade editions. I'll reveal them soon.
Meanwhile, the official publication date for the trade edition has been set at January 25th 2018. But I'm told that, as subscribers, you'll be getting your special editions a few months earlier.
Not much longer to wait now.
And did I tell you how GREAT you're looking today?
