IT'S COMPETITION TIME!

Monday, 21 August 2017

As promised, to count down the five months until the official release of A Murder To Die For in January* here’s the first of five monthly competitions that are only open to subscribers/pledgers/backers - call yourselves what you will.

That’s right, you lot.

To say thanks for believing in this book and putting your hands in your pockets to make it happen, you get exclusive access to these competitions and prize draws.

And the prizes are pretty damned cool.

Okay, enough waffle. The prize this month is an exclusive print of the cover signed and numbered by myself and artist Neil Gower - the guy who does all of those amazing book covers and magazine illustrations for people like Bill Bryson, William Golding, Daphne du Maurier, The New Yorker, The Economist and Vanity Fair. Oh, and he's the acclaimed co-author of When Kingfishers Catch Fire.

Yes, THAT Neil Gower.

The central image is 13cm by 20cm. There are only five of these prints in the whole wide world and there will be no more.

So, what do you have to do to win one?

Simple (we'll start easy but the competitions will get harder!).

Here are the names of four famous fictional detectives from books and TV. Can you un-anagram them?

All correct answers received by email at stevyncolgan@gmail.com by 31st August go into a hat and TWO lucky winners will get drawn out on September 1st. I'll then send you your prints.

Remember - Only subscribers/pledgers/backers/patrons (i.e. If you've stumped up money already!) may enter.

But there’s nothing to stop you from subscribing and then entering is there?

Good luck!

*As subscribers you’ll get your posh copies significantly earlier.
