Some great news to report this week.
Firstly, the manuscript has come back from my editor with, I'm pleased to say, very few suggestions for changes/tweaks etc.I'm now making my way through the document and doing what needs doing before submitting it back to Unbound for proofreading and then typesetting. Yay!
The second piece of news is that the cover is going to be done by the amazing Neil Gower and I couldn't be more pleased.
Chances are you'll have seen Neil's work adorning books by people like William Golding and Bill Bryson. Here are a few examples:
Neil is wonderful at typography too - all hand-painted and no computers! - and the title of 'A Murder To Die For' will feature prominently in the design.
I've discussed ideas with Unbound and their brilliant designer Mark Ecob is now liaising with Neil on the concept. I can't wait to see what he comes up with!
Meanwhile, it's back to the editing.
Oh, and I'll post some more 1940s whodunits next week.
