A Murder To Die For

By Stevyn Colgan

A darkly comic farce about a murder at a murder mystery festival

Friday, 9 September 2016

We're finally at 75% funded! Yay! Whoop! Huzzah!

And I promised you a competition when we got here. So a competition you shall have.

This competition is only open to the excellent people who have pledged money to make this book happen. If your name isn't on the list of subscribers then, sadly, you can't enter.

But, of course there's nothing to stop you making a pledge and becoming eligible is there ...?

What do you win?

What you win is an instant promotion to the top of the pledging tree. That means that, whatever level you've pledged at, you'll be promoted to the very top level which means that you'll get the e-book, a signed copy of the first edition paperback, two invites to the launch party, an invite to come on my inspirational pub crawl around Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire, and you get to name one of the characters in the book! That's £400 worth of pledge money right there!

Not a bad prize is it?

What do you have to do?

Here's a poster for a murder mystery play (left click on the image to make it larger - right click to save it).

Hidden within the poster are the titles of 12 Agatha Christie novels

If you can find all 12, you're in with a chance of winning.

Once you do find them all, email me at stevyncolgan@gmail.com. The names of everyone who gets all 12 answers correct will go into a deerstalker hat on the 1st October and a winner will be picked at random.

Closing date is 30th September 2016.

By all means have as many goes as you want to - you're not restricted to one email per person.

But remember - if your name isn't on the list of subscribers, you may not enter. Well, you can, but you won't get the prize. There's nothing to stop you making a pledge and becoming eligible to play, however.

Is that all clear? If not, leave me a message below or email me. Otherwise ...

Lots of entries in already! It's been asked whether or not I'll let people know how well they did. It depends; the number of entries may make individual correspondence cumbersome. However what I will do is give the answers after the competition ends. :D

ALL ENTRANTS PLEASE NOTE! When I first posted this online I accidentally put that the closing date was the end of October. I was a month ahead of myself. Sorry! I meant the end of September. But that means that you still have about three weeks to crack the puzzle. And the winner won't have to wait so long to find out they've won!
