Readings on the radio
Thanks for your continued support, folks. We are growing in supporters all the time, although there's the inevitable slowdown during August as we all enjoy the rain - I mean, the sun - and jet off here and there. For us, we've acquired a dog from Dog's Trust, and she's taking up all our time!
I've just completed a script for Commando, and you're the first to know the title: it's called 'Red Snow' and is set on the Russian steppes against a background of the Battle of Stalingrad. One word to whet your appetite: Steppenwolf. It'll be out in all good and evil newsagents later this year.
That brings me to the novel. I start redrafting A Hundred Years to Arras this week, with a few thousand words to add to the existing draft. I'm really excited to dive back in.
Just uploaded to Mixcloud is a broadcast based around A Hundred Years to Arras, with readings from chapters 1 and 4, as well as some related music including Radiohead, Fish, Clint Mansell and Thelonious Monk. I am a man of eclectic musical tastes, it has to be said.
