We are now officially over the halfway mark towards funding A Guide to Modernism in Metro-Land, currently at 51% and over 430 supporters! Thank you very much everyone who has pledged for the book and anyone who has helped by promoting it on social media.
The last couple of months have been busy with promoting the crowdfunding campaign. I was a guest on the Robert Elms show on BBC Radio London at the start of May, I gave a talk on the book and Metroland at the Isokon Gallery (do go if you haven’t already http://www.isokongallery.co.uk/), I have been interviewed for The Archer newspaper and also been featured on the Guardian website Suburban masterpieces: modernism in London's edgelands
All this means I haven’t had much time to visit places to feature in the book. However last week I did venture to Ealing, and I have more excursions planned soon, to Harrow, Barnet, Richmond, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire.
As I say in every update, don’t forget you can upgrade your pledge or even add a donation to the fund. To do so, just log in to your Unbound account and next to your pledge for The Guide there will be a green Upgrade/Donate button.
Thank you as ever for your overwhelming support and I look forward to sending you A Guide to Modernism in Metro-Land once we reach the target.
You can help make this book happen. Please share it, and encourage your followers to share it, too.
