January 2020 Update

Hello All,

First of all, Happy New Year to everyone!

It's been a little while since I updated on progress to A Guide to Modernism in Metro-Land, but things have been happening behind the scenes. The book has now been laid out and proofed, and we are almost ready to go to print. The book should be published in July.

I am pleased to share with you the cover design for the guide, which integrates photos from the book as well as the tube map theme that has become part of Modernism in Metro-Land branding in recent years.

If you need to change the name you want to appear in the book, or order another copy with name in you have until midnight on Sunday 19th January. You can do so via your Unbound account.

Thank you once again to everyone for your support and just as importantly, patience. The book is nearly here!

Regards

Josh Abbott

If it's almost ready to go to print, why is it taking another six months to publish?! I "bought" this book in May 2018!

Hi Josh,
What happened to the original cover? I loved its clean design. Is that being used for the hardback?

Hi Johnny,

The cover used in the original renders was more of a way for people to imagine the physical book rather than a finished design. We wanted to incorporate some of the images from inside the book whilst keeping the tube line design. We hope you are looking forward to the whole package.

Regards

Josh
