99 Immigrants - who should be in the book?

Do you have any suggestions for who should be featured in this book? The authors Louis Stewart and Naomi Kenyon have chosen lots of terrific individuals. From George Frideric Handel to Mary Seacole to Eugene Rimmel (founder of the London cosmetics company) to Mo Farah, 99 Immigrants will highlight many fields of endeavour.

But we all want to make it the very best it can. Can you think of your own candidate? Someone who was born abroad and made a new life in Britain, making the most of their talent and industry to contibute to the UK. Please tweet your idea to @99immigrants or email info@canburypress.com.

Finally, a week after launching, we are already more than a third of the way to our target. Thank you. To each and every one of our 60 supporters.

If you haven't done so, be part of this movement – to salute people from abroad who call Britain home; the people who help us every day. Make a pledge. This very moment. You will receive an extraordinary book in return. And an inner glow.
