Dear Shed Friends,
Some while ago, I promised / threatened to make audio recordings of some of the poems appearing in You Took the Last Bus Home. I’m afraid to say that I have now done this. To appropriate a quote from Dorothy Parker, I run the whole gamut of emotions from A to B.
Here are the first five:
- Ice Cream Vans
- A Forest, Which Grew
- Envy Not the Rich Man for I, though Poor ...
- Anthem for Unnamed Storms
- You Stitched Together the Pauses
They make the perfect audio accompaniment to the mowing of a lawn or the application of a pneumatic drill.
There are five more to come next week.
Brian
