Hello again!
I'm delighted to say that be guid tae yer mammy is now 20% funded, which is very exciting - and daunting.
I will be completing my *final* edit of the manuscript before over the next two to three months, then, all being well, it will go to an editor at Unbound in the not too distant future.
I've been working on this book since 2015, so it's exciting to see things finally come full circle and have an endpoint where I am totally happy with it in sight. It's far from the end for its characters though, and I'd love to write a sequel in the future.
To give you an insight into some of be guid tae yer mammy's colourful characters, I've attached a creative essay that's going to be published by the College Green journal at Trinity College this year. It features a few faces who will appear in some form or another in some of Jean Kelly's chapters!
