This morning Janet and I were made aware of a publicly accessible outdoor pool that neither of us had heard of before. This almost never happens - especially to Janet. What also almost never happens is either of us having the ability to just hop in the car and go and do something unplanned. Let alone both of us. If we want to meet / talk we usually have to schedule it in advance so that it fits in with demanding jobs (non-lido related, sadly) and parenting.
But this evening, we were able to free ourselves from all those repsonsibilities and head off into the sunset, like twitchers acting on a report of sightings of a Lesser Spotted Lido...
And we found it, in all it's glory. In a few days we'll write about it - but just for you, our lovely pledgers, here's a teaser...
