Hello all of you lovely lot who have supported my book, happy new year. I thought I should give you a little update.
I have been working with a really excellent editor called Mary Chesshyre. Painstakingly we have been through the novel several times trying to get it up to scratch. She writes notes, then I take the advice from her notes and send notes back. Then she looks at my notes and sends me her notes. I have attached some excamples so you can see for yourself how difficult (and highbrow) the process has been.
As you can see, it's all very literary and this time next year people will be talking about me as if I'm the new Jane Austen / Emily Bronte. Exciting times!
I am off to Moniack Mhor tomorrow in Inverness (I am telling you this because I 100% trust you not to burgle me) to start writing a new thing. I am really hoping for some lovely clear night skies to give me inspiration.
