Good day, all!
Given the current winding-down of class work and a whole lot of other stressors (and to keep up my contribution to the nonstop Xmas music :) ), I felt a relaxing, almost soporific tune was in order. Therefore, I give you the Gregorian chant O Magnum Mysterium, performed by the Cambridge Singers under John Rutter, originally for their 1990 Christmas album. (Usual copyrights apply; I own nothing!)
Though I'm not Christian, something about this melodic, soothing style has stuck with me for most of my life, to the point where I've amassed a fair amount of it, especially on my Xmas playlist. Whenever I'm coming down from a long writing session, or simply need a break of any kind during the short days and long nights lately, soft and flowing music this has always done the trick.
With the end of the semester fast approaching, I'm cherishing all the breaks I can get, until I FINALLY escape into Xmas vacation! This won't mean a complete vacation from writing, at least until the 25th, though I'll definitely be staying away from the screen for much longer stretches, and challenge myself to do so even more between Xmas and New Year's. No word yet from Sea Lion Press regarding my Civil War What-If draft Bloody Relations, but it shouldn't be too much longer; redo work on All Eyes is going smoothly as well. Planning a KDP sale of all my published ebooks and paperbacks for around Xmas, if Kindle allows me to; also still have several For State & Country free-copy promo codes available, for anybody in need of gift ideas. Drop me a line on here, FB or Twitter if you're interested, apart from that, just keep on sharing, reviewing, and commenting!
