Hello mashheads,
I hope you are all doing well and enjoying the warming weather. I received a box of The Mash House paperbacks last weekend and they look gorgeous. I hope you will all receive yours soon enough as well.
I wanted to share some exciting news. This week, I was invited to take part in a panel discussion for the Aye Write book festival. With some readings and chat about plotting, characters, route to publication, and more. This is the only in-person event for the festival this year, and so is quite unique. An oddity, if you like. The line-up of authors is impressive, and you can buy a festival pass to watch all of the events here.
I was talking to the fantastic Bob McDevitt, alongside fellow Glasgow-based authors Alison Irvine and Sharon Bairden. I must say that their novels sound terrific. The event will be broadcast online in May, and I will share this with you when the details are announced.
In the mean time, some early reviews are coming in for The Mash House on Goodreads. I am very happy with what early readers are saying about it. And I hope you will also enjoy the book when it arrives.
Cheers,
Alan
