The Three Stooges are one of the world's best-loved comedy brands – particularly in America – but most people remember the Stooges as Moe, Larry and bald-plated Curly. It's always Curly or a Curly-clone, even in the Farrelly Brothers film from earlier this year. There was another Stooge, however: Shemp Howard. Brother of Moe and Curly, he made almost 80 films as part of the team. His place in the legend has been undervalued for too long. Here's to the forgotten Stooge.
