Hello wonderful backers.
Another week, another landmark. We have now past 75% funding - hurrah! - and can buckle in for the final sprint to the finish line.
It's a crazy time for everyone around the world right now, and I've enjoyed interacting with the various tribes and communities who appear in FOMO on how they've all been coping with the new normal emerging around us. My Facebook feed, now full of friends I made while researching for the book, has been crammed with updates, pictures and videos of creative ways people are finding to continue honouring their passions and way of life through this challenging time. From Reenactors dressing in full battle regalia while they drink from tankards over Zoom to Naturists treating those overlooking their back garden to a glimpse of the virtual naked yoga classes replacing in-person events, stranded Circus Performers keeping up their 3-hour daily practice until they are allowed to reopen, and Hill Baggers reduced to hypothesising future trips and repeating ascents of their local hills as they resist the temptation of the temporarily unbaggable peaks in the distance.
I am so grateful to you all for your support in this journey to get FOMO on the bookshelves, and remember, if you know anyone you think might be interested in a copy and a mention in the book, please do pass the link onto them and encourage them to pledge:

Thanks for any help with this final push, and here's wishing you all health, happiness, and, for those of you with young children, sanity, as we muddle through the coming months together.
