The book is complete. The layouts are all done. The final tweaks are being tweaked, and the production process will begin soon. I can scarcely believe it.
The publication date for the mass market version is 3rd December 2015. It's going to be a nice hardback, but it pales compared to the lovely version you guys are getting. Your superior backer editions will be jacketed with holographic foil, and decorative banding at the head and tail. They're even going to have one of those lovely ribbons that you can mark pages with. And as the ultimate token of our esteem, there's an embossed golden 8-bit elk under the jacket.
Oh, and they'll be sent out before the publication date too. The unsigned copies will be shipping in mid-November, with the others following shortly after I've scrawled in them.
So... things are looking very good. Unlike Battle Probe for the Atari ST, which was terrible.
